WHAT EXACTLY IS HOSPICE? AHWV welcomes Delaware Hospice

Join Emmy Award winning newsjournalist Victoria Gaither and Entertainment Co-host Michael Kay as the explore the details of hospice home care with Alan Henderson, patient specialist for Delaware Hospice.

Delaware Hospice is the only not-for-profit, Joint Commission accredited hospice in Delaware.  With continuing support from the community through private donations and volunteer hours, Delaware Hospice has served over 36,000 patients and families since 1982.

We'll also meet a very special patient advocate team.  Michele Smith... RN, Barbara Buckingham... Social Worker, Rev. David A. Oppold... Chaplain and Yun-Fei Lou...volunteer will share their experiences of hospice dedication.
