There is no doubt black children need to study more.  This is a fact that cannot be disputed.  Research has shown that by the fourth grade, most black children have fallen behind their grade level in Reading and Math. Why?

It is a known fact that most white families invest in their children, by hiring tutors to help with additional practice or starting study groups. However, many black women can pay to have their nails and hair done, but they don't have money to pay for a tutor for their children. Oops! The cat is out of the bag!

Is education a priority in the black community? Do black people know that their children have fallen behind, but most have accepted their children's condition of illiteracy as their future fate?
