I remember being at Biola University and discussing the events of Acts 5 when Ananias and Sapphira met with a very swift end. In my Acts class my classmates and I did a project looking into the event. The question was always asked "Why did God do that then and not today?" The most common answer was that he did it because it was the inafancy of the church and God wanted to make sure that it got started right. After re-opening the case and examining the scriptures I have come to the conclusion that this is not the best answer. I believe I have found the answer. Join me as I open the word of God and connect the dots.
