**There are more African Americans imprisoned today, than were enslaved a decade before the Civil War began. Now take into account the majority of of the imprisoned are African American men resulting in them being labeled felons for life. These men are a ballooning under caste, permanently relegated, by law, to a second-class status. They can be denied the right to vote, automatically excluded from juries, and legally discriminated against in employment, housing, access to education, and public benefits, much as their grandparents and great-grandparents were during slavery and the Jim Crow era. On this episode Geo & Nakisha explore the ramifications possible racism through incarceration has on the black male. Again the facts are jaw dropping, anger inciting, but in the end undeniable. Join us for part 2 of The Eradication of The Black Male Project.
