Materialistic habits of though reduce the mind to matter and eliminate the soul. This line comes from the Tibetan Book of the Dead. The New Testament says, "Man shalle not live by bread alone". How can we expect to have the joy of life's intagibles, if we ignore our spiritual development? Things and stuff may enhance our perception of the Ego, but reality is enhanced by the unseen energies of Creation.
