Fantastic Chiefs & Where to Find Them: The Crimes of Grunfeld

1.) Ernie Grunfeld, GM of the Washington Wizards the past 16 seasons, was fired today.

2.) Kristaps Porzingis is being investigated on rape charges that the accuser alleged happened a little over a year ago, just hours after he suffered a season ending ACL injury. The NBA was made aware of the situation prior to the release of this story, as were federal investigators last December by Porzingis' camp. The Dallas Mavericks were also made aware of the allegations by the New York Knicks proir to trading for him.

3.) The Oklahoma City Thunder are in free fall, having lost 13 of 20 since the All-Star Break; most recently, to the Dallas Mavericks who were without Rookie of the Year front runner, Luka Doncic. In that span, OKC are 30th in the leage in FG% at 42.6% and 28th in 3P% at 32.8%.

4.) The NBA lottery race ... Atlanta and Dallas continue to win , while Memphis attempts to get up to #9.

5.) LeBron James was shut down for the remainder of the season.

6.) The Final Four is set; Michigan State vs. Texas Tech / Virginia vs. Auburn.
