This week in gay palm springs

If you remember our live radio show Love in the Desert you will love this new internet version because its its on the internet, not on the radio! Dumbass! So please please join us and let us know waht you think, we are going to do this anyway but it helps if you agree with what we offer.

First up a recap of what’s happening around the desert and LGBT issues in general, guest speakers and more. This is a pilot premiere so we expect some issues complaints and humor and no one has experience running a live studio.. 

documentary Zen & the Art of Dying, which will screen on September 19th, at 3:30 PM at Camelot Theatres as part of Cinema Diverse: The Palm Springs LGBTQ Film Festival. I'll also be in Palm Springs for the full duration of the festival.

The film is a portrait of Zenith Virago, a woman who left her life in the UK behind, discovering her sexuality and her calling as Australia's premier deathwalker. We will be watching a trailer and sizzle real of the movie.

Zenith's work vivifies a growing international Natural Death Care Movement as Baby Boomers are demanding more personalized, empowered, and meaningful choices around end-of-life matters, just as they did with the natural childbirth movement. Her own journey as a lesbian, feminist, and mother of a family of her own definition adds important layers to the story and its message. The film is being programmed by the festival along with a lesbian short PUJA.
