Serving Two Masters Equals Failure, Guaranteed

The Bible gives us several warnings in the scripture about serving Idols - from the Ten Commandments to the New Testatment we are warned about serving other Gods.  In the Old Testament, it was idols that people carried into their homes.  While this can still occur, there is a more common form of idolatry found in serving things, ideas, and our own will more than we do God.  Following any of these more than we do the leading of God is a recipe for Disaster in our life.  You may be mixing a toxic stew for yourself right now for your own driniking if you are serving something other than the Lord Jesus Christ.  Let us repent from all idolatry today. Amen.
