A Case of Racial Profiling

The arrest of Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. resurrects an ugly side of law enforcement in America on a national scale. No local yokel is Dr. Gates, but rather an intellectual giant who is highly respected in America. Getting arrested for entering his own home is a case of AWAH (Arrested While At Home), rather than DWB (Driving While Black). AWAH is uglier and more profound so you can expect Skip will not let this go quietly into the night. Even with all charges against him now dropped, I suspect the very proud brother will press his tormentors for a few dollars, apologies, and maybe even free tickets to the Policeman's Ball. My next show will pose this question - What should be done to cops that continue to treat every black man like a criminal regardless of what neighborhood they live in? Or something to that effect.
