We Must Overcome

I saw a chilling segment of the Glen Beck show where his guest said he hoped Osama Bin Laden would attack us again so America can be saved. The hatred of the president is ultra racist, and white men are allowed to express their bigotry without fear of the authorities. That this guy can sit on national television and express such a thing should make every American sick, but he said it on the FOX News channel and they are the number 1 watched channel. They have more viewers than any other cable news channel in America. More Americans agree with their reporting and commentary than with CNN and MSNBC. It's sick I know, but like hate radio hate television makes republicans feel justified in their hatred of the president, Mexican immigrants, and Blacks and Browns in general. It's legal of course because this is America, and freedom of hate speech is allowed. My show today will explore this problem, and suggest what might be done about it. This is - if you don't like it.
