Mitchel Whitington is an author who writes about both history and the supernatural. He has written such books as "Ghosts of North Texas," "A Ghost in My Suitcase: A Guide to Haunted Travel in America," "Ghosts of East Texas and the Pineywoods," "The Light at the Top of the Mountain: Ghosts in the Bible," and many others. He and his wife own The Grove, an 1861 home in Jefferson Texas, that Texas Monthly called "one of the most haunted places in Texas." They have lived there for 14 years with their dogs, and a number of resident spirits.
