It is evident that the need for self-reliance has become more important than ever as we face the growing incidence of natural, un-natural (man-made), and personal disasters. We're facing increasing losses of political, economic, financial, and personal control. Add to that the debasement of our moral values, and we're a country that's declining in goodlines, positive values, and loss of our freedom.
As our choices are removed and as our public values decline, we can see the need and propriety of preparedness and the value of determining what preparedness skills, talents, and abilities the future will demand of us and our family.
We owe it to ourselves and our families to become prepared or get better prepared--and to do it now! The newest Edition of Making the Best of Basics has been published for THIS generation. In it, I te ach to the conclusion that it really doesn’t matter what causes the need for one to become prepared––If you are properly (adequately) prepared, you need not fear what the future may bring!
