Until I married my neurosurgeon husband, Dr. Bob Fink, I knew nothing about brain tumors, particularly those afflicting children. Brain tumors can be malignant, or not. But because they occur in the brain—our control center—they can have lasting and devastating effects on people. Parenting is challenging enough. What impact does it have on parents and families for a child to develop a brain tumor? To help us understand, we have invited Stacia Wagner, Director of Survivor Programs for the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation, to talk with us about this life-altering challenge. May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month. Click to visit the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation website.
