Everybody wants to be treated with respect.

We live in an age when many people either have a poor self image or need a healthy dose of self-affirmation, and Christians aren't exempt. So it's good to know that the Good Book provides for this. The ancient Israelites were told by God that they were to be a nation of kings and priests. What did that mean then for the Jews, and what does it mean now for the Christians? Psychologists tell us that the way you regard yourself is the way others will regard you as well, and largely determines the way you'll be treated in life. This Thursday we'll talk about this.
