How important in the Christian walk is praise and thanksgiving? Words of thankfullness from our lips sound good but are they coming from our hearts as well? Colossians 2:6-7 says, " as you therefore have recieved Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving." So we recieve Christ by faith, we become established in Him by obedience, and we abound in that experience by thanksgiving. Does our God want to give us a more abundant experience in faith and obedience to Him? Did not Jesus say in John 10:10 , " The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." Whatever our circumstances are in this world of perilous times, we know that sometimes it could get worse. But can it get better in our hearts if we have thanksgiving, if we have faith, and if we have obedience?
