Christians , have you ever thought of yourself as being cleansed, seperated and set aside for future use? How many times have we eaten using the same silverware out of the drawer? Hopefully we have washed that silverware after every meal its used. However we also seperate it from the dishes and set aside them in the drawer for future use. Well we are much more valuable than knives ,forks and spoons. Yet our Lord Jesus takes us dirty as we are with sin and He washes away our sins with His blood. He then cleanses our hearts and thoughts with the Holy Spirit's sanctifying power and then we are used over and over again for His glory and our joy! But it sounds so easy doesn't it? Our God knew what it was like to be a man. Hebrews 2:17 begins by saying , " Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren..... Hebrews 4:15 says , " For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. " Why do we always act suprised when adversity or valley moments happen in our lives? When our circumstances seem so bleak and so overwhelming? Our souls have been corrupted. Yet He paid the cost ....all of it to wash our souls clean. Its a free gift to us but a most awesome sacrifice and act of love on his part. So are you getting your soul cleaned by His blood?
