The Bible declares in 1st Peter 5:8 " Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil , as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he "may " devour ". Notice it does not say " will " devour. The enemy cannot will himself  to enter our lives and devour us because of God's hedge of protection. He does have permission and he will devour when we do not exercise our authority as the children of God. Are you giving this authority to the enemy to enter your life and wreak havoc as he always desires to? How are you protecting yourself from the enemy and his demons? Are you fighting his attacks on you alone? Why does God give the enemy permission?
