We are in the Gospel of John Chapter 19 where Jesus was beaten to a pulp beyond human recognition. And the soldiers twisted a crown of thorns on Jesus' head and put a purple robe on Him. What was the significance of this? Pilate then had Jesus scourged or flogged, what was this and what was the point of it? We will also be reading an amazing prophecy in Isaiah 53.
