Singer, Songwriter, Arranger, Producer, Director and Editor, E-Jay Mills   continues to redefine the word " Independent Artist ". E-Jay Mills (Eddie James Miller Jr.),  was born on March 27, in Long Island N.Y.. Growing up in a musical family had inspired him to take a strong interest in music. Before he could even walk, Eddie was able to memorize and sing songs in the children's  local church choir his family attend, as well as those he heard on the radio.  

While attending elementary school, Eddie submitted a song he wrote entitled, “Wouldn’t it be great”, into the schools song writing contest. The song won first place and was recognized throughout Suffolk County  Educational district. 

Eddie remain loyal to his roots, by competing state wide representing his school choir. Eddie never wavier, but he continue to perfect his craft by writing songs, attending vocal lessons, and performing art school, which he took home two awards, for best vocal performer and most improved dancer. Eddie determined not to give up on his dream never missed a beat. He began to fill his weekends by  performing his solo acts throughout Long Island and New York City every chance he got and in 2009 he was also recognized as one of the winners for his vocal performance at the legendary Apollo Theater.
