This week on the BIG show, we'll announce the formation of the latest project from the Foundation for the Advancement of African-Americans in Film (FAAAF), The Black Reel Registry. Conceived and created to honor the vast accomplishments of early Black filmmakers and their often overlooked work, this cinematic Hall of Fame will induct five films per year into our registry beginning in 2013. Join special guests, Black culture historian Joseph J. Kennedy IV and Black Reel Nominating Coordinator, Cordell Martin as they discuss the historical significance of honoring some of the greatest films in Black Cinema, plus we'll unveil the initial list of 50 nominees. Plus, we'll have entertainment news and reviews of the latest summer releases with Wilson Morales and the Movie Mob on episode 132 of Keeping It Reel with FilmGordon.
