Nerd Herders Radio Ep. 21: Asian Influence in Nerd Culture

In this episode of Nerd Herders, Foxy Foxxy and Damian Dragon touch upon the news of DC Comics newly cancelled titles, Guardians of the Galaxy movie news, Adult Swim’s show Venture Bros, and yet more news regarding Justice League the Movie. Spike and Lenny give a recap of ’The Walking Dead’ before it’s mid-season finale in preparation for the return of it, Dani ’The Book Was Better’ gives the book pick of the week, and Foxy has one of the most epic moments in nerd rage over the last King of the Nerds episode.

But in celebration of Chinese New Year, this episode was dedicated to Asian Culture in Nerdom. The Nerd Herders take a look at everything within the nerd community influenced by Asian culture or has Asian influences such as Wolverine & other comic book characters, the influx of the ninja, mecha, anime, cosplay, Power Rangers, kung fu movies, Tarantino and much more. So much that many sub-topics were left out and there will be a Part 2 of this episode in the near future.
