FHS’ Race Trim MotorSports Hour #73

Tick – Tock – Tick – Tock . . . and we’re at the mid-race of NASCAR’s Chase Segment #3 with just three races remaining and Jimmie Johnson is now locked-in as own of the “Final Four” who will race for the Sprint Cup Series Championship at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The “expert mechanics” in the Frat House Sports Garage will be chatting about Johnson’s second race win of The Chase and suddenly, it seemed, the media all came in favor of ordaining him with his seventh Championship . . . or, was that just a bad a perception. Hmmmm

Going into the mid-race today at Texas Motor Speedway both defending Champion Kyle Busch and (of course) Kevin Harvick kind of find themselves in somewhat perilous positions . . . and, for as dominate as the Joe Gibbs Racing vehicles have been this season, not so much during “The Chase.” The “guys-in-the-garage” will be breaking down the leaderboard.

Today we’re at Texas Motor Speedway, and surprise, surprise non-Chaser Austin Dillon sits on the pole while Kyle Busch is buried deep in the field.
