Laricka Rayford is a graduate of West Feliciana High School. She also graduated from Barbizon School of Modeling and Acting, and Northwestern State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Theatre with a concentration in Musical Theatre Performance.

Laricka is a Songwriter and a Gospel Recording Artist. She is also a Zumba Fitness Instructor and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. She was born and reared in Saint Francisville,LA. In 2014 she released her first single “Infinity” which she wrote in 2009.  This is the first of many songs she has written. She was also a featured artist on Bobby Jones Presents.

Laricka’s parents recognized the gifts of singing, acting, and dancing in her life at a young age. Soon after that, she acknowledged her gift and began to pursue it. She performed in Talent shows at school, and sang in the church choir.

In 2014, God spoke to her mother about her stepping out on faith to record her first single. Last year September 2, 2014 God allowed it to become a reality, her first single “Infinity” was released. Laricka realizes she is blessed and she is also grateful for all the great things God is doing in her life. She also knows she must remain humble, and stand on God’s word. Even as she faces challenges she is reminded of her favorite scripture Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me,” Saith the Lord. She is forever grateful for her amazing family, especially her mother, whom is her backbone and greatest supporter. When she thinks of God’s goodness to her, she can’t think of any other phrase that would say it best, except “But God.
