Wife and mother of 9, Necol Scott has lived a tumultuous life filled with many obstacles. These obstacles would paralyze most, however, by facing her trauma, Necol was able to rise from the ashes like the Phoenix. ? When asked about her struggle, her response is, “I had to become stronger, so that I could fight harder to protect the most important pieces of my life. When your back is against the ropes and you dig into your soul, that is when you find out just how strong you are.” ? For many years, Necol suffered in silence, and only out of fear of trouble did she ever speak out. This would take her down a dark road that would lead her to attempt suicide. She decided that she didn’t want to hurt anymore and needed help. So Necol forgave her abusers for her own healing. ? Necol has decided to dedicate her life to helping girls, young ladies, and women understand how you can overcome traumatic experiences and become a happier, healthier self. Her life is a platform, in which she speaks of her never-ending journey. ? It’s very important to Necol to be able to help heal communities by being open and showing the importance of healing, self-love, and knowledge of self.
