Michael Jones, Co-Founder of Not Alone, served as an Infantry officer in the US Army. His deployments to Bosnia (1997), Afghanistan (2002, 2003), and Iraq (2004). He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.

Upon his return from his last deployment he decided to leave the military and soon after formed the non-profit Not Alone. They provide confidential online and offline serivces to soldiers, veterans and their families.
