Demos Fellow and voting expert Tova Andrea Wang on voter supression.   Tova outlines the history of voter suppression in the US and how it went from a local problem to a national - and Republican - strategy in the 1960's.  Tova's new book, The Politics of Voter Supression from the The Century Foundation is ripping the mask off of the so-called voter fraud scam being used by Republicans nationwide to suppress voting in Democratic districts.  The charges against a major Republican voter registration firm - the Romney campaign firm -  this week underscores how keeping people from the polls has become an integral part of Tea Party and Republican victories, threatening to end demomcracy as we know it in America. 2:08 pm

Geoffrey Lean of the London Daily Telegraph reports on the problems with high speed rail in London - similar to those in California, and how biofuels are threatening the world's food supply.  Geoffrey is a 3-time winner of the UK Pulitzer prize and former Editor of the UNEP's environmental website.  He is our regular environmental correspondent and gives us a look at the world every week through British eyes. 2:20 pm ET.

Kara McGraw joins is at 2:40 for Music Friday.  Kara combines theater and pop music for a sound unique in the nation.  Her new album, The Hound and the Hare will make you laught, cry and hum all day.
