TEXAS vs. OUR EDUCATION

How many of you are aware that the state is the biggest consumer of our textbooks and as such their view and opinion appears to supercede others as well as sets the precedence for the future of our children's education. In case you aren't aware, Texas wants to omit the events of slavery and the whole black history from our children's textooks. Because they are the biggest consumers, the textbook manufacturers has agreed to compl...y with whatever Texas wants to do.What does the mean for the our history let alone our future?
