Facing Our Faces

Have a gripe about your face? Discouraged with how women are treated when it comes to their faces? Say what you feel! Face Talk is a safe place to talk about face related issues.

Show Notes

Fran Mann has built a thirty-year career inspiring women to appreciate the given beauty in their faces. Blending her fine arts background with her lessons learned regarding a childhood trauma with her face, Fran designed a revolutionary beauty philosohy that combines makeup application with messages of self esteem. Her seminars, workshops and support groups for women and teens, along with her own story, have been featured on talk shows, radio and in national publications in the United States and Canada (franmann.net). "Face Talk" is Fran's attempt to bring women together to speak candidly about their faces, as well as explore how the female face is viewed by the media, beauty industry/plastic surgical community, and society at large. Fran invites guest speakers who believe it's time "beauty" had a makeover.

    FACING OUR FACES

We can talk about our negative feelings toward our bodies, but when it comes to our faces, "mum" is often the word. Is this because we have makeup and corrective surgery to rely on? Is it because we feel vulnerable when we expose this part of ourselves? Are there other reasons? Call and join our chat room and tell us what you think.
