Born and raised in Chicago's south side Johnny Louis aka "Fella Soul" grew up in the mean streets, was a high ranking member of the Vice Lords (a Chicago street gang) and was on a fast track to nowhere until he heard the voice of God. "I was on my way to committing another illegal act when God’s voice stopped me in my tracks and told me to pray,” explains Fella Soul.

That was nearly 5 years ago and since that time Fella Soul has been receiving nothing but blessings. "I don't call it a blessing because I'm doing what I love,” he proclaims. “The blessing is in recognizing that God loves me all the time." "Testimony" is the first single from the movie soundtrack for the new film American Badboy, which stars Katt Williams. Fella Soul makes his acting debut with a cameo role in the movie where he performs his new song, “Testimony.”
