Clinical Condition or Demon Possession

ADD, ADHD, Autism, OCD, Bipolar, Manic Depression, Schizophrenia, and alike; with so many clinically labeled deficiencies, illnesses, diseases, and so on, how can parents determine if the doctor is right, or is it just the devil?  What if it’s just a matter of spiritual warfare needed instead of medication?  If medical doctors do not assess spiritual concerns that have manifested into physical reality, should a Christian parent then get a “spiritual assessment” from a biblical counselor before giving their child medication?  At what point does a parent stop giving their children medicine which only suppresses an illness, and starts waging war against the enemy to release their child’s soul?  Should a parent trust the victory of Jesus, the medication of the doctor, or both equally?  In some cases, prayer and fasting may be needed to cast out demonic presence from a person.  Does Jesus teach and command the N.T. Church to cast out demons in His name when necessary as exampled by His disciples?
