Prisons - They Are Supposed To Punish Crime, But Why Not Stop Crime Before It Happens?

How Does The World Of Star Trek Serve As An Example For Us In 2011, Going Into 2012?

The Mellow Mezzanine Is Alive Tonight With Macy Gray!

Tonight on The Ernest Experience Radio Show, Ernest uses the recent sentencing of Rob Blagojevich as an example of how prison really doesn't deter crime, nor does the punishment of being imprisoned retract the "crime" that got the person there to begin with.  How can we change society so crime doesn't happen in the first place?  What is the one thing that births most crimes in the United States, & the world?  Ernest is going to tell you.

Also - A Thai born American was sentenced to prison for simply posting a link on his blog to an unauthorized biography of Thailand's king. Freedom of speech is not alive in other places, apparently.

Don't be dismissive about the Star Trek reference. Take away the aliens & space ships, & you have a very valuable lesson on how society has changed, yet stayed very much the same over the generations.  Ernest is going to break that down for you.  We think you'll take something very valuable from it.

All this plus MACY GRAY in the Mellow Mezzanine, NPR News, Ern's 3-minute commentary "Feminism Is Killing Society", & much more!
