When Domestic Violence Takes A New Turn With In-Laws
Are The 'Bad People' In Society Really Bad?
The Mellow Mezzanine Is In Effect Tonight!
Tonight on The Ernest Experience Radio Show, your gracious host briefly delves into a recent series of shows onDr. Phil, about a woman named Khalood, who hates her son-in-law to the point that she is willing to perpetuate acts of violence against him. This might sound common place for some in-law situations, but it's so bad she's also been featured on Monster-In-Laws on A&E. We'll explore what she's missing in the whole equation of this situation. We'll go further & discuss the simple fact that violence begets violence.
After the 1st break, Ernest also talks a bit about how V For Vendetta really speaks to the idea of the state controlling people's thoughts & ideas, all while they have blinders on. It's a short segment, but one worth hearing. Are all these bogeymen in society really that bad? Who created them? Would we be scared of the "bad people" in society if we didn't know them as bad people? HMMM!
In the 2nd part of the show, Ernest steps back from the mic, & keeps your holiday going with a fantastic mix of music from some of the best independent artists on the scene today, in the Mellow Mezzanine! Yep, we've not done the Mellow Mezzanine in a while, but it's back today!
All this plus NPR news, Ern's 3-minute commentary, "Don't Be Thankful", plus the Mellow Mezzanine for the 2nd half of the show!
