To Kill Or Not To Kill - Ourselves

What people don't realize about suicide is that in our minds it's actually a fantasy.  The way people will have elevated feelings toward us, if we die suddenly, the idea of escaping but through a painful venue, the aggrandized prideful feeling which is what suicide is about.

Some people accused of suicide are people who have mentally checked out months before the actual event.  This show is partly based on the son of a close friend  of Jane's, who gassed himself in the car with carbon monoxide.  He was only in his 30s.  Jane's own brother-in-law shot & killed himself after not getting a job he wanted.  Her high school friend died of alcohol poisoning.

Jane, among many people, knows this is a painful subject but it is a necessary to explore.  Join Jane as she explores the psychology of suicide. Share your story & tell her your feelings on why people contemplate suicide and the few who go through with it.

All this plus music, news, & your phone calls at 1.347.989.1942.  Join us for a sure-to-be intense episode of Political Gravity with Jane Hoffman.
