"what artist's produce isn't supposed to be taken and used as a guide" but sometime our intended use isn't always what transpires... my point is that NWA saw the destruction and they saw that the black community was lapping up every word and translating them literally and the results were catastrophic and they continued the reckless rhetoric.

We can debate whether they had some social responsibility if you want but the point I'm making right now is that their music represented gallons upon gallons of gasoline that was poured on an already smoldering fire in the ghetto—and it erupted into an out of control inferno.
