Becoming an Independent Young Adult

Alyssa K. recently graduated from community college and is now attending a four year university. In high school, Alyssa was experiencing seizures and was not ready to move away from home to attend college. Alyssa decided that her situation was definitely not good enough. So by working with her doctor, she found different medical options that helped control her seizures, and gave her the courage to move away from home and gain a new sense of independence.
