What does America's Politics say about us as people?

With so much going on it's a bit confusing at times to figure out what it means. BP doesn't follow standards for safety, floods our ocean and the Gulf with oil, republicans defend them and make out that the president is doing a "shake down" when determining that BP should be held accountable.

How much is just too much? What about the war that never ends? What does this say about us? If we ended either or both wars, would those soldiers have a job to come home to?

The first step in changing things is to admit that something is amiss.. then figure out what we can think and do differently so that real change can happen.
