I want to leave this comment regarding online education and autistic children. The comment was made that online education on an elementary level would not be good due to lack of exposure of physical interaction. That could not be further from the truth. Please look up and converse with the mothers involved with "Emerging Minds of Maryland," a grassroots effort to bring virtual education to Maryland. Their site: http://www.emergingmindsinc.org/
