That "smooth as silk" voice (which he attributes to unfiltered Camels and scotch) is unmistakable. When you hear it, you know you are in the presence of a legend. It was in September of 1974, that he made his television debut and cemented his place in Horror Host History as his show "Nite Owl Theatre" ran for an incredible 17 years. But to just call him a Horror Host is a grave injustice. He played host to so many iconic films, his love for jazz music propelled his show "Nite Owl Jazz" to another incredible 17 year run and he even helped Captain Marvel and Superman save the universe. He is a man of many many talents. And when he reached the age where most performers think of retirement, he made a come back and kicked it into high gear. Tonight we are ecstatic to bring to you, the one and only Horror Host Hall of Famer, Fritz The Nite Owl!
