Thom Mitchell takes a month long vacation in the White Mountains of New Hampshire to get some rest before touring to promote his new CD. In the space of a week, he meets the woman of his dreams . . . and gets mugged, shot at, and kidnapped. Lost on the most treacherous, remote mountain in the Presidential range—Wilde Mountain—he has to remember the details of that night, and get himself and his new lady away from the kidnappers. And not die in the process.
Tonight--Thom works up the nerve to confront Jo about the newspaper article and picture, and ends up spending the night. Mal finds out and steps up his efforts. Thom decides to have a press conference to try and get the press off his back. Missy overhears a very interesting conversation.
