Kay Insley joins us to talk about the group Zion's Joy! and the controversy that surrounded the group earlier this week.

Zion’s Joy! was founded by Robert W. Stevenson in 2008 and in the decade that followed they have performed throughout the United States, using their powerful voices and tight, rich harmonies to deliver a unique blend of old and new school gospel and contemporary Christian music. The line-up consists of Kay Insley, Camille McKnight, Lia Matthews, Karen Hall, Shekinah Caldron, Lynesha Sweeney, Patrick Taylor, Jeffery Porter and Ramone Griffith.

Here is the link to the video in question - https://youtu.be/e4LIoDk3_l0 and below is the email I received that announced that Facebook had taken back the actions that caused the issues for the group.

Facebook stood by their actions earlier today when they spoke to the NY Times: https://nyti.ms/2lWbdTC

But moments ago, they reversed and acknowledged that they should not have taken the video down. They have just restored the video to Facebook (on the group’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ZionsJoy) complete with original views, comments, etc! The intense media pressure worked... this time. ;)
