Your Family secrets could destroy this relationship?

Tonight we will talk about Family Secrets in Marriage or with  Partners and how they impact our lives.

As we grow older you may become aware of family secrets that your personal and extended family hold on to. Things that are never get talked about or only come out after the person it concerns has passed away.

Most of our secrets like the Titanic are buried deep below the ocean and it can take many years to uncover them. Who was your real Mother? Who is your Father? Why did an Uncle or Aunty suddenly leave and never return? Is there a child that you know you possibly created but you have never acknowledged?

So what is the problem with secrets. Why do we feel we need to hide from the world? Are other people's judgements so lethal that we dare not share, even with those affected?  Why do people need to die before we learn about the real life they lived?

What is in the darkness must come to light they say, but is this really true? Do we really have to know? How will knowing help us?
