This week on the Empowerment Hour Online University in it's mission to Empower people of color throughout the world we discuss a recent event taking place in Jackson, Mississippi. The City Council voted to name a local library after Charles Tinsdale, founder of the Jackson Advocate, one of our nations premier Black Newspapers. We will focus on the events that lead to the libraries renaming along with the controversy surrounding this event. In the second half of the program we will continue our weekly discussion on the empowerment of people of color during this economic crisis.
