Recovery From the Empirical Lie (We Walk by Faith, Not by Sight)

Joshua was taken aback by the empirical lie.  He found himself wallowing in the flesh.  After the Ai disaster he held a pity party before God, and said things that he knew he did not really believe.  Such is the power of the empirical lie with its deceptive power.  The empirical lie limits our faith perception, and makes us believe that human perception is absolute.  When in fact human perception destroys our victory over the world.  We need to listen to Jesus only!
