Tomorrow night we will discuss how our generosity as good as it is during the holidays; should be all year long. There are some who are mean spirited, won't give a dollar even in their abundance; give a person a ride to church in their SUV and it is only them and God on the way to church. This usually falls during the months of January and October. Then November comes and everyone is feeling thankful and blessed trying to outdo others on ways they can be a blessing to others. They are easy to find because they are the ones telling others on how generous they are and have been. Those who bless from their heart and many times are not bound by the seasonal time constraints are the ones whose deeds are never known. We will use Proverbs 3:27, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in the power of your hand to do so." as our source of discussion and to substantiate our point generosity should not just be seasonal. For those who are doing their part and not just during the holiday season we say thank you. For those who do it just during the holiday season hopefully this discussion is a motivating factor of greater service and generosity all year round.
