Dr. Santos is an Associate Professor at Florida Atlantic University in Jupiter, Fl and has been working with police for over 18 years. Two of her recent books include one sole-authored, Crime Analysis with Crime Mapping, 3rd Edition (2012), and the other co-authored with Professor Marcus Felson, Crime and Everyday Life, 4th Edition (2009). She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Arizona State University.
