The Big Apple is full of surprises and drama for that matter. Who would have thought Phil Jackson would do such a terrible job as the President of Basketball Operations for the New York Knicks? Who knew the New York Mets were going to be so underwhelming this season? And who saw THIS coming from Aaron Judge?
Well, for the Knicks it's out with the old and in with the new, kind of. Steve Mills has been promoted to President while former Sacramento Kings Executive Scott Perry has been hired as the GM. Will this combination work or should the Knicks have gone in a different direction and cleaned house?
Yes, we know the Mets have struggled so far this season and it's in large part due to injury. Lead Mets Writer for Double G Sports, Dan Yanofsky will join us again this week to touch on the Mets and his experience at the All-Star Game.
How about that Aaron Judge!? Honestly, who could have projected that kind of first-half production from the youngster? We all knew he was a big strong guy but he's turned himself into a really good hitter. But now it's about adjustments, sooner or later pitchers will begin to take advantage of his weaknesses and thus the cat and mouse game ensues. Will Judge be able to then adjust to the pitchers, that's the big question on our minds. Also, are the New York Yankees going to contend for a playoff spot this season?
