Retired U.S. Army Col. David G. McLeod, M.D., J.D., is the director of the Center for Prostate Disease Research, a congressional directed medical research program. McLeod was also the former program director in Urology and Chief of Urologic Oncology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. He is a Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD as well as a Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery (Urology) at Georgetown University Medical Center. He will demystify prostate cancer and address the importance of yearly exams.
