Our broadcasts cover news on the arts, natural beauty and heritage of the Door Peninsula region of Wisconsin. Often called the Cape Cod of the Midwest, or the Thumb, Door County is a great spot to vacation while taking in a wealth of creative endeavors. The region is dotted with art galleries and performing arts venues, one of which, Peninsula Players is the oldest summer stock theater in the US. Musicians and great music from classical to rock and folk can be found throughout the year. The Peninsula Music Festival and the Steel Bridge Songfest are two of the most notable annual events to look forward to.

    Revisit the music of the 50s and 60s with our special guest this evening... Gary Lane of the Mad Lads, one of the headliners in the Sept 12 show at the Door Community Auditorium. From Bill Haley and the Comets to the Righteous Brothers, “A Night to Remember” recalls some of the most memorable singers in music history. Added to the show line-up is the amazing Junior Brantley who has performed in Door County before with Jim Liban & "Short Stuff." He was a member of the Fabulous Thunderbirds with world wide hit "Touch Enough" and currently does a Little Richard tribute in Las Vegas and performs regularly with Jimmy Vaughan Blues Band. Her work will be featured at an upcoming solo show opening on August 15 at Charlene's Gallery Ten in Gills Rock, Wisconsin. You can meet her in person that day from 3 - 5 pm at the gallery and the show runs through Sept 17, 2009.
