There have been riots in our society since its formation…economic riots, religious riots, and ethnic riots. But, the history of race riots in this country outnumbers all of those combined. Why? Why does race cause so much turmoil for our society? Furthermore, why does sustainable positive change elude the outcomes of these riots? Often the zeal of the MOVEMENT fizzles into just another MOMENT for the history books. Are riots just rhetorical solutions clothed as societal temper tantrums?
