Talk to Donna with Mike Allington

Meet Mike Allington, he’s a family guy - he and his wife Kellie have with 2 children, Ava and Liam. Mike is an Investment Advisor with CIBC Wood Gundy and he looks after his clients as though they were family.  

When not at work, he can be found spending time with family, getting ice cream, at the park or simply walking around downtown Oakville. When the kids go to sleep, he’s an avid lacrosse and hockey player; he skis and is a member of the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance.

Mike is a Rotarian and spends time with Rotary youth, always willing to help young people, whether it’s solving a problem or actively listening to their raising funds plans. 

If anyone was asked for words that described Mike Allington they would be – Caring; Kind and Loyal. Adding to those words would be “a good friend who can find humour in most situations.”

Mike is actively involved in Miracle Day - this is one of Canada's largest one-day corporate fundraising events devoted to children's charities. It happens on the first Wednesday of December each year. On this day, CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisors and CIBC's wholesale banking employees donate their fees and commissions to help more than 400 children's charities across Canada. http://bit.ly/1g1aMOC
